Another Upper Coast Report
I fished down the beach from SS and had a bit better luck. The 1st mullet head yakked out got eaten by a bull red within minutes. It was then a couple of hours before a yakked whiting head accounted for a nice red and a few minutes later a crab got eaten by another. After another couple of hours, the last whiting bait I had in the water got a good run, but that fish dropped the bait and never came back. I ended the day with 3 nice bull reds, a bunch of whiting and a 20# leader broken when something big jumped on one of the bait rods.
