Truck seats need rebuilt - Upholstery shop recommended?
Bought an Excursion from a fire dept. The Chief "was a very big man".
Looking to get front seats done in gray leather (fake leather preferred due to saltwater butt) Any auto upholstery shops recommended? Could be San Antonio, Corpus, Austin areas Thanks! |

There are several places that pre make the seat covers. Mine came from south of the Dallas area, but there is a place here in Houston that's making them now...and yes, get the man made leather as it holds up very well and you cannot tell the difference. I ordered these and installed them myself on our Ford Limited Excursion...well, at least the seat bottoms as the backs were fine. Did this several years back and still look and smell new. I am very happy with them given I took the seat out myself and took to an upholstery shop twice for panel replacement with real leather...it only lasted a year or two. The only thing you will need is a pair of hog ring pliers and some hog rings which are cheap on Ebay.
