Need belt for Rikon 70-100 lathe
Anywhere to buy a new belt locally? I.e. Houston? Its the 12" x 16" one, model 70-100. Cant seem to find a belt that lasts.

I bought a Rikon bandsaw from Woodcraft on Cypress Creek Parkway a few years ago. I'd imagine that they would have, or could get, the belt that you need. Their number is (281) 880-0045
If you are going through too many belts .....is it possible that there is a burr on one of the pulleys, or that they are misaligned? |

Thank you Richg99. Just called and they do in fact stock this belt. Everywhere else ive called said it would have to be ordered. Sometimes id rather not wait for the brown truck to bring me something, esp if i can find it around town.
Belts might just get dry-rot. Lathe is not in a climate controlled area, so this Tx heat im sure does a number on them over time. |
