2007 f150 5.4
102k mi yesterday on the freeway all of a sudden it felt like I put it in N .I switched it to 2nd and could do around 35-40 to get it home.As I was at the light it would take off in D but only to about 25-30 than back to 2nd what could it be.The transmission was rebuilt about 3-4 years ago at around 80kmi.Any feedback before I go forward with it thanks.

Did you have the overdrive on? If so, take it out of o/d and see if it will shift normal. If it does, the o/d went out. But, if not, don't have a clue.

No overdrive was not on,I lost the higher gears Wright transmission League city did me right on a rebuild.
