Are there any boat yards in Freeport or Galveston that will haul ur boat and let u do the work yourself.

used to be dos amigos in turtle cove. different owner now, but same organization. also, hideaway on the gulf. i didn't know there were establishments that would not let you work on your own boat. they haul it out and either block it or leave it in the slings til you're ready to go back in. most offer other services but don't require you to use 'am. they might not like you hiring some competitor to do the things they do, wouldn't blame 'em for that.

more options if you can use a forklift, but as far as i know you can work on your own boat.

think there is still a yard right off teichman rd in Galveston Payco Marine or something. my uncle used to have them pull his sail boat and he did most of his own work.
