Locations and Structure suggestions

What locations/structures are you targeting in lakes this time of year? I assume all the spawn activity has died down so the bulkheads are slowing. It is still hot, so do the catfish stay deep or is the thermocline pushing them shallower like the white bass? I've got sonar but don't feel confident i can find schooling shad but i'm trying to learn how to do this.

I'm fishing a large lake in north Texas (Richland Chambers). Looking for any tips!

We are still blessed with fair dissolved O2 as deep as 27 feet on Livingston.
I’ve been catching nice blues drifting live large Shad over ridges coming up that shallow surrounded by 30+’ water. I see a lot of cars up around 12’ early.
