A handful of nothings 8/26
Got to my favorite south shoreline west of san luis at about sunrise with my buddy who was taking his kayak out for the maiden voyage. We let the wind drift us eastward along the shoreline and ended up catching 3 undersized reds, a CPR keeper trout and an undersized flounder. Many chartreuse swimming gulp tails were bit off in the process which were either short hitting flounder or needlers. The bite/action was sporadic but solid until about 10:30am, when it shut down and we didn't see any more action.
