The whole thing looks to be a trailer park.
This is a heart breaker! I guess Harvey had his way with it. We had a lot of good times getting into the AC and ordering some good food there. The scenery was often a plus, also. Granted, I haven't been down there to try them in about 10 years, since we started fishing more towards Seadrift/POC. Thanks for the update.

Two good on the water eating spots are Paradise Key at Cove Harbor boat ramp and Mickeys in Aransas Pass just south of the big bridge going to Port A (second canal on the right, 0.9 miles south of the bridge). Mickeys is open air but in October should be perfect. Best hamburgers on the water.

Thanks guys, I've started a notebook with some of the info, the restaurants from the water will be a fun way to spend the early afternoon before going out for that last light bite.

How far of a run would it be from city by the sea up to Copano?

How big is your boat? With a prevailing wind, that would be a long, slow trip, with a lot of water sprayed in your face, potentially, on the return trip.

Personally, I would trailer from City By The Sea to the Copano boat ramp.

It becomes debatable with a boat like that, but even so, I would personally trailer there.

So to get back to the areas to focus, would you focus north toward Mesquite Bay on the reefs or south on the flats toward Mud Island? Didn’t know if this hot fall weather so far may have kept the fish on the flats and off the mud a little longer than normal.
