Upper Galveston Bay

Me and a buddy put the Sea Chaser in at 7:00 yesterday, bought a quart of shrimp and headed out. Never seen it so calm. Started out on the shoreline looking for Reds but only caught one keeper Speck and a real nice flounder.

Moved out a little further on the shell banks and caught a few more nice Specks until we ran out of bait around 11:30. Chunked an artificial out there and bam, good trout first cast. i thought oh boy I am in them now, wrong. Not another bite. So we headed in about 12:30. Did I mention it was hot out there? I wanted to jump in. Headed back in and the skies turned black. Got the boat load up and we were on our way before the storm hit. It rained hard all the way up FM 646 to 45. Good day with a good friend and we caught a few so no complaints.

You know I already wear mine so there is no adjustment period for me. Someone had a good idea to buy a second kill switch so that your fishing buddy can restart the engine and come to you rescue if you fall overboard.

I keep a second one in my dry storage because someone reached in the boat and grabbed mine at the gas station in Beaumont...didn't realize it until I tried to start the boat while drifting away from the dock...

tarpon ???

mine is hanging on the throttle, and the half-moon piece that is supposed to be on the ignition, isn't , but daggling. I have no idea how to connect it?? i have looked at it for about a dozen years, and wondered how it works. I've even gotten bored fishing, and attempted to connect it, asked people on the boat. We still haven't figured it out.

Mine went bad on my Yamaha 115 and I replaced it. it was just a black plunger looking button. It was a little difficult reaching the wires under the console but I finally managed it.
