I went down to the beach in Sea Isle, Galveston this morning and it was pretty much dead calm with 6 inch surf.

But the sun is brutal and no breeze, so wear your SPF and drink plenty of fluids!

LoneStar2 is a Landlubber (+10 to -10)
Went to Surfside this morning, fished till 10 am with my cousin and ended with 6 keeper trout on tops and plastics. Caught probably 15 trout total. Sharks were thick this morning though!

Tight lines!

Buddy who lives in Galv told me clear as glass and flat right now, his wife paddleboarded this morning and came back and told him.

Staying here just took this. Is very green but not much caught yet. Going to hit it hard this evening.

tarpon clean

the beach water is crystal clear in Galvetraz. was on the beach yesterday, could see my feet in waist deep water. can see all three bars easily. rare for it to get this clean. but absolutely beautiful. a lot of popcorn surf trout, but top water action is always fun. something about being on the beach is soothing and refreshing. It's probably easier to forget about life, on the beach, then anywhere else.

Sounds familiar... LOL... it's a sign for sure. How well you do depends on a lot of factors.

Surf side Friday AM

I hit beach between access 1 and access 2. Fished 2 hours with artificial. No fish for me. There was a lot of bait and bird activity scattered over a large area
