thinking about hitting upper trinity soon. can anyone tell me how last years plane crash (God bless them) has affected the area? off limits? deep hole(s)? just curious.

Plane Crash... no affect to fishing; It was in the upper marsh section just northwest of Jacks pocket. Spill.. no affect to fishing as it evaporated within a couple days. Any long term effects to the spill.. that has yet to be seen but I doubt it as it was super fresh during that time and most the fish were concentrated in other areas.

They are just starting to see a few trout show up on some wells in the middle.

If you find a plastic baggy with my address it's probably still missing from Amazon.. pm me and I'll give you the address ;-)

Ran through bulkhead cove (crash site) yesterday, you'd never know a plane went down there.

Did they recover all the aircraft? Engines, landing gear etc?
