Lake houston water color

Anybody been out lately. Wanna take the family out Sunday. What color is the water? Brown or more like tea?

Drove across bridge and looks like chocolate milk. Be safe

Honest question, will Lake Houston ever look like tea? I only see that bark stained water in feeder creeks.

Goldfish

When the dredging is complete and when/if we ever have a period with little or no rain, Lake Houston will take on a greenish hue and clarity improves. It wont get as clear as Livingston under old normal conditions-not the new normal conditions
