Whats a good propane smoker

I have an older Masterbuilt electric, wont get to 275 degrees. We do not use a smoker very often and from my understanding, if you do not empty the pellet hopper after each use, the pellets swell and will not go through the auger. That leads me toward a propane smoker. Its only two of us , so don't need a huge setup. Are there and good propane smokers that allow you to maintain a fairly constant temp and maybe even add wood chips without letting all the heat out. Thanks,

I've owned 2 of the Materbuilt propane smokers and would buy another if I didn't use my pellet grill for everything now. Couple key things I did to make it perfect for my needs...add an inline needle valve to the propane line. That allowed me to be more precise with the temperature adjustments. Next I trashed any little wood chip pan that came with it. Instead I had a cast iron skillet dedicated to the smoker. I would place the cast iron pan on the burner and instead of wood chips I used bigger wood chunks, which allowed me to smoke for much longer with adding any wood.
