Snapper Slapper

Besides a give-in for big Red Snapper, I'm curious to see what fish y'all have caught on Snapper Sleeper. Jigging, Casting, Trolling, favorite color, anyone?

Trying to align work/life/weather up, making getting back out difficult, feigning for some fish pics to look at!

I caught the Amberjack during Snapper season on a 7oz. Yellow / Chartreuse, first drop thankfully, it would not have been pretty had I hooked him after filling the fishbox with RS lol

I always keep one rod rigged with one, and pays off time to time, had this Cobia creeping back about 20 yards away from us, tossed it over in front of him and soon as it hit the water it was on! - 7oz Red/White

The Jack was on a 7oz Red/White

Some of the largest Bluerunner I've caught, 2lb-ers even

Red, vermilion, and lane snapper while jigging and a king while leaving a hole and I was slow on the reel in. Thankfully got the lure back.

Kingfish do like them, have had them hit them on the way up, thinking I'm out of the fish and just crank it in

Kings, ling, red snapper, AJ, mahi, shark, and one blackfin tuna.

Disclaimer -- almost always fished tipped with a whole sardine.

Erichter5674 is a Landlubber (+10 to -10)
We trolled them this year with sardines and had several hits but no hookups.
