Bow tie down straps

What are y’all using for bow tie down safety straps. I’ve seen everything from turnbuckles and chains to the Bass Pro straps. Don’t want to be wearing my boat as a hat in the event of a safety stop.

I just use the heavy ones from tractor supply across the entire back of the stern.

Ratchet stray

I have always used a ratchet strap. Not sure if that is the right thing but like you when I stop I want the boat to stay on the trailer. Ratchet strap is attached to the tongue beam under the eye

I use strap on now to trailer and ratchet across.the stern and hook on trailer. Seems sturdy guess I'll find out. One big strap across the back ratcheted down feels much better than those 1 inch straps I see alot of people using .

The stainless offering from boat buckle. Or a simple chain to the bow winch eye... (that strap may break but the hook eye wont break.)

Got me to thinking about this as well. Did some quick shopping and it looks like the Bow tie down is 1 unit at $66.95.
If you buy the Transom tie downs it is a pair for $84.92.
They appear to be the same so need to split a pair with a buddy if all you need is the bow tie down.

I use the turnbuckle and galvanized chain on the bow at 90 degrees from now eye hull location. Plus one of these over the stern.
