My son boat a new boat for cruising only. I notice the trailer ( see photo) has about 1 inch or less clearance from the fender to the boat hull.

He has a new DX2050 bayliner.

I am not familiar with these boats or trailer requirements and can't find anything on their website. Could ask the dealer that he bought it from, but I want to find an answer before asking them. Thanks

As long as it doesn't hit under vibration.....AND the bunks hold the hull securely where it isn't sliding into it then thats fine.

Don't really see a question in your original post but gathering that you are concerned that the hull may get damaged from the fender because of the tight clearance. It appears that is a plastic fender...instead of a metal one...which would be alot more forgiving if it does in fact contact the hulls gelcoat.

Fairly common. Use tie-down straps to keep boat from moving on the trailer and it will never be an issue.
