Garmin to Lowrance Adapter

i have a Garmin GPS with transducer right now and looking to convert to a either a Lowrance or Simrad unit. Does anyone know if there is a adapter to connect the transducer to either the Lowrance or Simrad unit to where it works being that the pin count is different. Don't really want to go to the trouble of installing another transducer. TIA

Better email lowrance with that question would be helpful if you have model numbers. Why switch from Garmin?

If you have a third party transducer like an Airmar you can usually put a new pigtail on it and make it work. Once you determine the model it is easy to find the wiring diagram. It is possible you have an airmar with mix and match connection. If you have one of those it is as simple as buying the simrad mix and match cable, unplug the Garmin version and plug the new one in its place.

If it is a Garmin specific transducer. Most of these will be the "all in one" type with down/side imaging. Doubtful you will be able to reuse with another brand of MFD.

Working on doing the same with my boat. It has an airmar B117. New 9-pin plug and I should be golden, hopefully...
