I need to replace my trolling motor batteries used for a great white 24v motor. Recommendations?

I've had good luck with my interstate trolling motot battery. Ask them if they have any "scratch and dent" deep cycle batteries, they function perfectly at a reduced price. (at least here at the Victoria store)

Everstart or Interstate.. No problems here... Friend has an Everstart on his Duramax dated 2012 still running today. I work with batteries everyday and have seen some CRAZY Interstate batteries come in.. The oldest battery still in operation I've ever seen in person was an Interstate that came in last year from 2009 and was just needing replacment.

Don't waste your money on Optima. They are not what they used to be... Made in Mexico now and the newer ones are hardly even getting past 2 years or so from what I see. Yes, the old American made Optimas that are still running today are awesome. Optima is NOT what it used to be. If you must go AGM go with Oddessy batteries.

The reality of it is with lead acid batteries, Johnson Controls and Exide makes the majority of them, including Everstart and Interstate.... All the same ****. Buy the one with the best warranty and the best price. The Interstate batteries on our boat are $89.99 from Academy with 1000MCA.. I think the deep cycle ones are even cheaper which is what you want to use for a trolling motor. Marine batteries are gonna go bad no matter how much you spend on them. Sitting up KILLS them.
