New V8 Mercury 300 Pro XS/Torquemaster Lower Unit
How are the new Mercury's holding up so far? Anyone switch from a Yamaha 250 SHO and regret going to Mercury? I know a 250 Pro XS would be a more equal comparison, but really interested in the 300. TIA!

Captain Caleb went from a 250 sho to the Mercury 300 on a 25' Outlaw. Sounds like he has been impressed.

I drove one on a Haynie Cat and it had 350hrs on it and the owner had no issues with it. Stupid amount of torque. Throttle response is instant. It punches well above it’s weight class for a 300.
