The m2 slides slightly less in a turn, drafts an inch more and rides maybe a hair better and is rated for more HP....

I just rode on a Haynie V-hull and it was like a Cadillac, granted it was a smooth day. I didn't like that every spot we came into we drug to a stop. Also recently rode in a shallow sport and Ill take the Illusion ride any day over it. I can tell you that both will run through spit

As long as your not running straight into waves the M2 is not that bad of a ride. And for me it has no slide at all. Can run back slews with no problem knowing the boat is going to go where I want it to.

M2 is a significant improvement over the RFL in ride and handling. Its still rough, just not as rough. It is not as shallow as an RFL, they will get stuck where an RFL runs with ease, though not many need the extreme shallow, i think its a good trade off.

JH Outlaw
Look at the Outlaw 23.....much better ride and boat. I had the RFL and Illusion. Outlaw is a nicer rig.
