Majek 25 M2 Ride

How do the ride of these compare to say one of the 23 cats built here on the TX coast? I would assume the cat will ride better but how bad is it? The original rides like a Welded suspension UPS truck.

25 illusion rides close to a 23 cat like a shoalcat. probably not quite as smooth, but relatively close.

that extra length of the 25 versus the 22 illusion makes a huge difference comparing just those two.

Length helps but it's still a flatbottom basically. The cats do soften that a good bit but not as much as a V would.... there's trade offs with everything. Illusion probably floats shallower and may even run an bit shallower as well.. tradeoffs.

I know it won’t ride like my V bottoms but I would like to survive the ride long enough to fish once settled down.
I know I’d have to trial one to get a good feel for it but wanted to know if it was one of those deals where it’s better to not waste my time, nor the boat owner’s to do so.

I really don’t want another 25ft boat but found a good deal on one. And could be able to do what I need it to.
