Yep Tobin...Its getting harder and harder to catch some decent size fish outta Travis now,at least for me.I tell people I have to drive couple hundred miles to the coast to catch fish! Maybe come out with a freshwater DVD!
I can say some of the biggest black bass Ive caught have been striper fishing.Dropping a huge perch down only to reel up a 5-7 lb bass...still fun!

To Tobin’s point, the last time TPWD stocked with striper was 2017. If they even have 1/4 the striper guides on Travis like they have on Whitney, there’s gotta be close to none at this point.

I think there's just a handfull of striper guides on travis.. too much run around traffic.

We also had some big big flood pass throughs since the last stocking.. we loose fish downstream during those events.

don't worry about the striper and just go bass fishing. Coves ,cliffs and drop offs. Travis is a great bass lake , most people just think of it as a party.

and don't be afraid to go hit around the docks at night, you might get a striper there.
