Does anyone have a recommendation for someone that can replace the guides on one of my rods? I live in Spring, TX. Any idea on about what it would cost?
Alan does good work if you’re on that side of town. Fishing tackle unlimited does it for 15$ plus the guide if you’re close to one of their locations and anglers Anonymous does it if you’re out in Katy.
Edit sorry I didnt see you were in spring take it to Alan
I'd recommend a bunch of rod builders there in Spring, but of course my comment would be deleted again because someone thinks this is their own personal website.
Go to FTU. They'll take care of you and support all of our local rod builders, not just themselves!
Kenny at FTU in Katy does really, really nice work. He usually has a few rods in the rod holders he has made. Take a close look at his guide wraps. they are perfect. I hope he's still there! I always try and catch him on my way thru town and show him some of my builds.
I appreciate all of y'alls help the rod was dropped off this morning. Thanks again
