Shower Caulk Question
Anyone know a quality caulk for the shower? Shower (house) is 15 yrs. old. Last summer we stripped old caulk out because it was starting to come up in some areas. Trying to avoid a leak. Bought caulk for shower, mildew resistant and the more exspensive stuff at Home Depot or Lowes. Within acouple of months mildew was the worst it has ever been. Just on the new caulk. Six months later re-caulked with "the better stuff" from Ace Hardware. Same thing. What kind of caulk is better suited for this application and where can I get it. I know nothing is fool proof but would be nice to put back what the builder used. Thanks for any input.

Was the stuff you used acrylic latex or silicone? I would recommend 100% silicone. Everytime I have used acrylic latex I have had issues with mildew stains. Silicone is more difficult to clean up, etc. but seems to last a lot longer.

Shower Caulk
I am going to check for water behind shower wall. I am afraid of what I may find. I am going to try Axiom 25 this time. Thanks for the help.
