Your tie rods are worn BECAUSE OF DEATH WOBBLE. They will not be the cause of it. I hope Ford paid for them.

Hopefully the other components of the front suspension checked out good; however, I would take a closer look at the track bar bushings. If your suspension is purdy much stock and you plan on keeping it that way, now would be a good time to install a dual shock steering stabilizer. As stated earlier, I have not had a problem with my current truck of 18 years and it doesn't have a steering stabilizer or sway bar...but it was picked up 1.5"-2", which puts more tension on things like the track bar and keeps things in place better.
