Need help with a Curado 101B

I bought a Curado 101B frame off of ebay and I'm trying to piece it together with spare parts that I have and scouring the internet for parts that I don't have. (I have a bad back and don't get around very well anymore so this is kind of like therapy for me.)

I have some questions about Shimano's parts. I know the Curado 101D, Chronarch 51MG and Scorpion 1001 are all similar reels, but are their parts that have different BNT#'s interchangeable?

In general I would say that different Shimano part numbers can't be interchanged.



There may be a few that do, such as spool bearings. Although the bearings are the same dimensions, the material they are made from and whether or not the bearings have shields may differ, causing different part numbers.



Another that may, but not necessarily, could be crank handles. Due to color or knob bearings, crank handles may have different part numbers but still may interchange.

Actually many of the parts are interchangeable, I put a Chronarch 50 MG main gear and pinion in my CU 100B. Different part# but still interchanges.
