Battery should be under the 3 year 36thousand mile warranty. Take it by a dealer if your not past the warranty.

My 2014 GMC 1500 battery died after 5 years. Started fine one day and dead as a door knob the next. These are sealed batteries so no water level check, probably why it failed!

I'm a big fan of AGM batteries. No level to check, no terminal corrosion. A little higher in price but worth it. I'm getting 5+ years out on mine.

I traded in for an f150 today and it has a big AGM that is easy to get to.
