Waterloo Rods Question??
I was wanting to get a Waterloo Rod and since FTU has a very limited quantity, I was wondering if I go to the shop in Victoria do they sell them there like a retail business?? Can i just walk in and purchase one? My second question is.... I wanted the HP Slam Mag, but is there an HP Slam Mag 2 also?? What is the diffrence? Thanks to all that respond..

Slam Mag 2 replaced the Slam Mag. Newer blank. Similar action to the Slam Mag.

I have both...
...the Slam Mag and the Slam Mag 2. Both are excellent rods. The Slam Mag 2 is a bit lighter, if you can believe that, and a bit smaller in diameter. I like a 6'6" rod, but most folks I know want a 6'9" or longer. You can't go wrong either way with a Waterloo. I am pretty sure you can order a rod online. Also, Johnny's Sport Shop in Eagle Lake carries a good supply. Call Mike Grigar and he will probably ship one to you. Hal.
