Human arrogance seems to have no end

No, the bottlenose dolphin will not stop eating them, but they don't have the option to go the McDonald's (sharks aren't really an issue this time of year). All the more reason for the species with the bigger brain to back off for a week or two.

The biologists will study and speak. Limits will be adjusted by them to capture conservation. I don't get to fish often.....maybe 6 trips a year? I will keep what they say I can keep.....just like I always have. My daughter is already on me for the "catch and release" mind set. I appreciate her vigor.....but my wisdom is tempered with living through other kills to see the fishery rebound and I kept fish then also. We all have our opinions. You do you and I'll do me. As long as we are within the bounds of the law I am sure we will be fine.

How about wait until the spring Gill net survey by TPWD is performed and let them do their jobs. You know the educated marine biologists that we pay. Some areas were hit harder than others. I’m sure they will adjust bag limits accordingly.

tarpon lmao

never realized how many friends I have on here. Like I've said before, if it's right put it on this board, and we'll try our hardest to make it wrong. We'll pick it apart from every angle imaginable.

Saw black drum and sheep's showing up on matty. No new dead trout. It caught me off guard because I released a tank drum earlier today and caught a bunch more then I saw one on the beach. Thinking was one of "mine" that got their wires crossed but no, was missing his eyeballs.

Not sure about the trout situation but the drum and reds didn't seem to be as impacted. CROAKER were all over the place. I can , and would love to see croaker bait ban for a little while. Two species croaker and trout which go hand in hand and might need to ease up on.

The croaker were breeding size, the kind you would fry up. I did see the whiting finally start reappearing which were all but disappeared since oct.
