Watchya cooking this weekend?

I plan to fire up the smoker before the roosters wake up tomorrow. I have 2 briskets, 1 pork butt, 2 racks beef plate ribs, racks of pork spares and a few links of sausage.

Cooking two pork butts on RecTec to eat on Sunday and two briskets Sunday night for Monday. One of the briskets is going to an old turtle I know. Most of the cooking will be done while I'm asleep... hopefully!

Right on! Maybe one day I won’t be so mad at the bbq and will get one of those Ron Popeil smokers like yours. But for now I will stick with stick burner.

Since it's just me & Mrs. Ranch, I'll smoke a thick sirloin (smothered with sauteed leeks at the table), served with baked potatoes, stuffed japs & garlic bread.
