drum aluminum work coating

I was wondering how many people have ever just painted their aluminum work rather than powdercoat or rhinoline/linex.
I may end up using rhinoline and then painting with several clearcoat coats.
I am trying to go with White or light gray on the aluninum.
i was hoping to find out what has held up the best and maybe some pics.
Thanks in advance

Look at Ultra Tuff: https://tuffcoat.net/ they make a self etching metal primer and you don't need to worry about U.V. protection as it already has it in the product. It is a D.I.Y. product and easy to apply...just follow instructions.
