2 drillships within reach

Here's a couple of recent shots showing the 2 drillships positioned between Perdido and Hoover. Nice temp break associated with green/blue color change between the 2 ships as well. Very well defined rip on Camel's head, and a plume of warm water coming into the Boomvang/Nancen area.

Fairly intense upwelling cyclone (-25 cm) in the area, generating some very good current in between the ships!!

The season is coming upon us!

No drillship at Auger right now - there is a "well stimulation vessel", but it's less than half the length of a standard drillship and I doubt they would let you get anywhere near it.

Best,
Tom

Fished it a cpl weeks back. Lit up like a city. Caught some bf and had some tuna blow ups before we got chased out by a storm. They said it was an exploratory ship.

Probably a different vessel - this one arrived yesterday. No drillship there.

Hmmm. Weird. 2/28 it was there. We hailed auger in the radio and said it was there for several months. Next window ima have to load up the bladder and go check it back out.

Yessir.

The well stimulation vessel has already left Auger and headed inshore.
