ford mechanic

BW, you are right- I forget the gentleman's name that McRee had, but he was one of the best. He was the only one I ever let work on my previous truck there.

I spoke with another mechanic and he seems to think its a head gasket.

Interesting read as I went from a 7.3 to a 6.7. 2015 as well but not nearly at the 100K mark.

Steve always has good information!

update

This just in via e-mail from Ford..

"This is an update on your Super Duty, as we discussed earlier the O ring we replaced on the most recent visit was leaking, we replaced the O ring and the tube that it is housed in, we have pressure tested the system and so far everything is fine. We will test drive the vehicle again today, and if everything goes well should have it back to you by this evening. Please let me know if you have any questions"

Luckily I was able to get a lot of pics after the last breakdown, so I emailed those in. Secondary radiator hose I am told, and a gasket that keeps busting.

anyhow...wish me luck on round 4 fellas. Previous truck I bought from them had 400k + miles on it- never an issue- but that was the 7.3.
