F-150 w/3.7L?

Any of you have any experience with the 3.7L v6? I found a truck I really like and just assumed the v6 was the ecoboost, but turns out this one isn't. I wont be pulling anything extremely heavy, but will pull my boat and possibly a small travel trailer one day. I had a dodge diesel and currently have a Jeep Wrangler so I'm hoping the 3.7 will be somewhere between the 2. Also, this truck has 3.73 gear ratio and is 4x4

paper work from my 2014

says you can tow 5000 lbs with the bumper,
6100 lbs for a super-cab 4x4 3.7 with receiver hitch.
6500 lbs for a reg. cab 4x4 3.7 with receiver hitch.
i have no real world info. as my truck is 2wd 5.0

I'd keep shopping if you tow anything moderately heavy. I'ma Ford guy, but you either need the V8 or one of the Ecoboost options for it to be serviceable as a tow vehicle.

Ford guy here. I dont have any numbers or real world experience, but I test drove one 1.5 years ago and it was gutless. That was in a 2wd, CCSB platform. i would stay away from that power plant if i were you.
