2008 and newer Dodge transmission case

Just an FYI I have a 2008 Dodge 2500 that cracked the transmission case in two on Monday. The cases are on national back order. The transfer case does not have a support which puts strain on the transmission case and will eventually crack the case. If you have a 2008 and newer truck might want to invest in an after market mount support for the transfer case so your not in the predicament I am in.

So, what hold the transfer case up? It is bolted to the frame, so, not sure what you mean.

There is a drive shaft between it and the tranny, so, the tranny cannot hold it up.

It's bolted to the frame but thats it. Doesn't have any support outside of the bolts. They are making after market supports to fit between the frame and transfer case to help hold the weight.
