I'm not an expert but it looks like that boat had to be traveling at a high rate to get on top of the jetty's on a low tide. The lower unit/prop looks like it ran into the jetty at 40+ probably when someone had tipped a few too many or was looking to cash out on an insurance policy...
Could you imagine the pucker factor to purposely run up on the jetties??? Just think about it. Crazy probably Miller high Life who knows but regardless glad no one was killed. Geez.

I did some dumb **** in my Glastron Carlson at the lake in high school, but there has never been enough Coors Light to get me to run a boat up on a jetty...

From the looks of that boat they never even knew the jetty was there and I am sure they went from having a good time to OS in about a second!

Well maybe they are telling the truth. Tide high, rough water, wave action breaks anchor loose, large waves pick boat up and slams it on top of rocks. Repeated slamming on the rocks busts lower unit loose, jars the screws loose on the console and pounds the fiberglass into shreds.

Except the tides have been pretty low. No where near high enough to float that boat on top of that jetty...
