I use power pro super slick 8 in 10, 15 and 20 lb on my spinning reels with reasonably good results. I Have used suffix 832 and it is good also, I just feel like the super slick eight cast better. I did try the smackdown, it casts like a rocket with its small diameter, but 15 or 20 pound would break without much stress. The super slick 8 in 15 or 20 lb never breaks under normal conditions.

I use 20# Suffix or Suffix 832 . It's great line IMO.

Power pro on 30lb for me. Any issues cutting just use landers pliers they’re the best for surgical cuts on braid

Yes, in the Smackdown, if you use it, you have to use a heavier version... it very thin.. so if one is used to 30.. use 40. I didn't have any problems with the 40 breaking but anything less than that i'm sure it would.
