They're not Costas, but the mirror coating is less important than the lens color. Copper is the color you want for inshore fishing IMO

I've always worn Green Mirror lenses. 580G these days. It serves me well in the bays and the gulf.

I have a pair of Costas in green mirror 580G. Mostly wear them everyday and bay fishing. Blue mirror 580G more infrequently and for offshore.

I look at sunglasses much the same way as binoculars or rifle scope. I try to buy the best I can afford in the way of glass and coatings. I feel that Costa gives me a good value for high quality glasses.

Sorry never tried silver mirror. My costas are amber with green mirror 580G. Absolutely love them! Wear them everyday and every fishing trip!

tarpon ??

just went from prescription mirror blue, to regular prescription amber. not sure what to think, everything seems extremely brighter. almost like shooting glasses. I've got another set of frames, i think i'll order the blue for them. not sure if the mirror coating is an advantage or not?? this time around i went to the galleria, well my galleria, Walmart. the first set of lenses were straight vs rounded. the rep said i'll have to send them back to Nikon. so now we know the Walmart source.

I'm not sure I know of any brand with amber with silver mirror. If you can just buy one pair for $20... give it a rip and let us know. I'm assuming that's plastic lenses, and there's already tons of plastic polarized lenses out there but only a couple look at the details and try to make better glasses for on the water. Some of the plastic ones are ok, others are barely good for highway driving.
