Nothing but hardheads

Went fishing twice the past few days...used shrimp (dead) and generally fished the same area, easy to wade from the road. I had action all day, but mostly small hardheads...I figured I should have moved, but is there any reason why the area would be covered with them and not trout or reds...I did get one good-sized sheephead. I was in about three feet to four feet of water with a sandy bottom.

If you were fishing in 3' to 4' of water with dead shrimp, then you were officially hardhead fishing.

Get Troutsupport instructional videos.

Use live finfish for bait as the trash fish and bait stealers are much less likely to mess with it. Trout and reds would prefer almost anything else over dead shrimp. Up your game.....good luck.

that and find some oyster or sea grass edges or pockets instead of the clean sand or clean mud bottom and with some moving current in this heat.
