flounder Advice on Boat Choice....help!!

I will be in the market for a new boat in the near future and was wanting all the input on which make and model to get. I've been eyeing the Transcat 21' with a Yamaha HPDI. Any other boats or advice would be greatly appreciated.

West bay shallow fishing with an occasional trip to the jetties. Generally I have my Son and maybe one other passaenger and my budget is around $33K-$36K I would like a 22-24' boat.

Majek Illusion( 22'6") Yamaha 200Vmax ( Reg. or HPDI) If you go Regular Yamaha motor, You can get a brand new 03,04,05 out the box & cut cost greatly. Just call dealers close to you & ask. If you buy your motor close to you then your 50 hours & 100 hours check -ups are usually free if you go back where you bought it. This way you can stay with in your range. ( Maybe) find a good used Alum. trailer & buy it separated. That way you don't finance it with your boat& motor. Just something to think about!

That's a very good idea on the motor and trailer. Especially being that the motor is usually 55% of the cost. I haven't seen a Majek up close but I do intend to look them over. By the way how is Majek pronounced?
