Shimano chronarch 200e7 question

The knobs on my handle were crunching when reeled and I was able to get one side off to replace the bearing and I noticed that the inner sleeve of the bearing was partially frozen to the post, but was able to remove it. Problem is the other side; took out the screw but cannot get the knob to release from the post on the handle. I'm assuming the inner sleeve is likewise a bit frozen on the post. Does anyone know a way to get the knob off without destroying it? Thanks in advance.

i'm not speaking about the screw that holds the know, i'm asking about the knob itself. after screw is removed the know will not come free, and as I stated above, I think the bearing is frozen to the post. any ideas on removing without destroying the handle or the knob?

knob

Where the knob meets the handle drive a wedge in between those two points, like a screw driver.
. Work it off a little at a time.
