2018 Nueces River WB final post

Well, think I'm done for the season. Here's the results:
2-5-19 2 fishermen 16 WB
2-11-19 2 fishermen 5 WB
2-16-19 2 fishermen 31 WB
2-27-19 3 fishermen 46 WB
3-7-19 2 fishermen 38 WB
3-10-19 2 fishermen 40 WB
3-15-19 2 fishermen 17 WB
By March 19 last year 2 of us had caught over 300 WB in 10 trips. Judging by that I would say that this hear was not that great. Getting tired of the 75 mile drive, one way to fish. Maybe could have my arm twisted into one more trip if I had a really good report. Hope your season was better.

Didn't think I would ever say it but think there was too much water, level and flow. Good fishin.

well, thanks for the stats Postman, and all the information you and I share over the season....I'm sorry we still haven't gotten our new river runner titled, but sounds like we didn't miss much this year anyway....

I hear they're crushing the crappie at Coleto creek though, if that helps you...

Thanks for the post Snookered, but what are the stats worth? Maybe when I get about 10 years of data, flow from Choke, Mathis level, ambient, water temp., catch rate, females vs. males caught and when, sunshine/no sunshine, color of lure, muddy water, clear, stained.........yikes. maybe then I can figure out when to go catch 'em..........probably not. Good fishin.

May go try Coleto for the crappie....I have NO DATA on them to speak of.
