A seed that doesn't grow is still a seed. You can't see it because it's still underground. It doesn't become a plant. It doesn't produce fruit (which is its purpose). For a seed, growth is a natural process.

A Christian that doesn't grow is..... well.... errr.... maybe you get the point.
