Ant Hill rigs

Are any of the 3 ant hill rigs still up? Any bottom at the ones that have been removed?

There are no rigs out of Packery channel in federal water. Anthill, Ranzell they are all gone. There is only one rig left and that is north Baker rig 45mi out of Port A or 60mi out of Packery. And the 14mile rig out of Port A I think it is still up.

Here's a graphic showing the platforms still standing out of Port A/Packery.

Stay Thirsty is a Landlubber (+10 to -10)
Is there any structure left, or did they remove everything?

I was told by a reputable charter captain out of Port A that the structures at Ranzell's and the Ant Hills were cut off and that he fished them during AJ season.

I have not been there to verify this though.

Wow. That's a lot of empty water. Maybe more will be built out there.

Eventually all of the platforms will be taken out of service and reefed or removed - and replaced with brand new offshore windmills. Especially in the coastal bend area where the wind really rips.

Anyone been around to see the bottom around those 3? We haven't even bothered considering it's so close to 828 and Southern
