You couldn't chain my high school kid to the desk lately. He'd gnaw his way out of it, so he could grab his rod and hit the neighborhood ponds. We went looking for new spots last night with only about an hour to hit the weeds. It was fun, but we came up empty.

I wish we lived closer to the coast so we could turn those 2 hour trips into an evening wade on a shoreline. He and I would both prefer that over freshwater fishing.
