If they can fit it in their mouths, the bass will eat it. Bass @ 4-6 pounders would have no trouble with 11 inch trout. Ideally, the trout I stock for forage are 7-9 inches, but I get a few larger ones thrown in for catching and eating ourselves. I never, ever see a dead rainbow when it warms up...
