tommy261 Baumann did a buddy of mines skeg... looks awesome. It was about as bad as yours... definitely not enough left to put a skeg guard.

Freefron I had Baumann repair my skeg a couple of weeks ago and they did a great job, but admittedly there was a bit more skeg remaining with which to work. Good Luck

jeffbx62 You will need to drain the oil at a minimum before getting a new skeg welded on.
Call Charlie Armstrong-281-900-1686...he has a lot of experience doing this.

You need to have the prop shaft and seals checked out as well.

Capt Hardhead Doesn't look like enough remaining to attach a guard type replacement. Worst part is to get it welded your more than likely gonna have to pull the lower unit and take it apart because aluminum welding that skeg will get it very hot and likrly melt any seals in the lower unit. Unless ya can get a welder to take it slow and not heat it up too bad. I've done a coupla of these before but the had more skeg left than what you have there.
