White Bass Spawn

I have caught whites as early as late October making the push North. Two things I've learned are they spawn at different times in different types of water and Red Bud trees don't lie .Normally the fish that are in full blown spawn are really beat up. The fish pics I've seen seem to still be in really good shape.

hrider2001 Fished Nelson Creek yesterday......nothing but a lot of small males.....NO females or any males of size. The creek is heavily sanded in and shallow......banks have caved in from floods and the creek is much wider and shallower. Numerous log jams and fallen trees as well. Launched at 3478 bridge and went downstream.....but conditions are too tough for me......and my canoe only draws about 4 inches. In the last six months there has been two floods that put water over the bridge.
