TheKodiak I'm not sure how I came across this towing calculator, but it took a lot of the guest work out. I hope it works for you too.

bigfishtx You cna pull a 10,500 GVWR trailer fine with a gas truck. You have more than enough power.

dk2429 Yeah I did a cross country run from here up to Pennsylvania in a 2015 yanking about 15k through the smoke mountains. No problem whatsoever. That Allison ate those mountains up and the Dmax just grunted on through.

The nice thing about the new ones is the exhaust brake. After thay trip, I wish my 06 had a exhaust brake. Going down grades barely had to touch the brakes.

TXanalogkd Yes, my 05 DMAX has pulled the same weight. Just take your time, and let the engine and transmission do all the work.
