Good thread on what people like to fish for. That leads to a second question:

What's your favorite gamefish to take back for dinner?

In my opinion, you just can't beat the 'hoo. Grilled, fried, whatever.

Number 2 would be specks. Nothing like fresh pan fried trout and eggs in the morning.

Ok take the trigger and was the goo of of him es no bueno por ....... Take a SHARP Serated filet knife and start from the tail and go to the head as close as you can get to the head and cut off with game shears. Then filet the skin off and cut the small section of ribs out of the center and TA DA Trigger filets, my number 2 pick.

Tripletail, for sure! Then Red Snapper.

The only people who don't put Tripletail at the top of the list, are the unfortunate ones who haven't caught one :)

Fried Grouper/Trigger or Wahoo sashimi, Blackened Wahoo, Grilled Wahoo. Those are my favorite fish to eat. However, of all the numerous times that I have been offshore I have never seen or caught a tripletail.

YFT... the end.

I'm suprised by all the triple tail talk, but they are pretty darn good. I do believe they make the best taco's though. Triple tail, pico de gallo, and creamy jalapeno/cilantro dressing wrapped in a corn tortilla. fine eats.
